Revival

Christmas season always bring a new sense of hope for me. Pag abot sa September, excited na kaayo ko for things that I don't know kung unsa. Basta, journeying until Christmas day, daghang surprises ang maagian along the way. Siguro, the thought that on this day, families gather, we unwrap gifts, singing, dancing, the simbang gabi which I miss so much, the neighbors nga mahiusa for one purpose and tha is to celebrate Christmas with so much joy. Syempre this day, we remember the day our Savior was born. Dugang pa ang mga lights ug mga decors which really lightens my heart. And I feel this tinkling sensation inside. Basta kanang feeling nga excitement. Mysterious excitement.

Can't wait for next Christmas. But, as I've said, it should be christmas everyday in our hearts.

Pan de Sal

My lola had a booming bakery in the 80-90's. Makadumdom ko sa una, 2am pa lang everyone in the household was awake buzzing in the hall. Bakery boys, tindera, kusinera. Then, one day I learned that pan de sal boys, tig suruyay ug pan de sal, earn big. P20-P30. That was big na for me back then. So, I invited my cousins to sell pan de sal with me. We did. Amo route and ako partner is Manang Dandan, adto mi sa Hilltop Village layong tawn sa bukag nga naay mga 200 pcs pan de sal. Layong, sabay singgit, "Hoy, Rodela's Pan de Sal!" Nahurot pud among baligya.

Ako unforgettable moment was, pag naa gani mo respond sa amo singgit ug mopalit, we didn't know my other cuz, is nearby. He heard the customer and single handedly carried his bukag to the lady. hahay. Nakuhaan mig customer. It was a fun experience. Mao amo bonding moments sa ko mga cuz when we were little. Nya amo sweldo was only P5-P10. Medyo disappointed ko. But, I realized libre man sad mi anytime to get bread of any kind and anytime sa bakery ni lola.

Everyday Christmas

December 25, Christmas Day, the day our Savior Jesus was born. Well, December 26 na karon. My prayer is that we should not stop celebrating it. Dapat kada adlaw Christmas sa atong mga kasing kasing.

I remember a pastor told me there are 3 kinds of people daw, one is makakita ug looy nga tawo, moingon rag kalooy nya oi. 2nd, moingog kalooy nya nuh, unsa kaha ako mabuhat but never really do anything to help. 3rd, mga tawo nga diretso na motunol ug mobuhat unsay pwede mahimo para sa nag kinahanglan.

I pray, we belong to the 3rd group of people. Sa mga ginagmay nga butang, I'm sure those we reach out our hand to will be very grateful and for them, the help we extended would just be the help that they need.

Longterm Goals

I was only seven years old when we transferred to our own house in Cypress. Now, my eldest is already seven and we have not even a single post for the house that we are going to build.

> House
> Business ( Service)
> Car

Wonder what God has in store for me?

Christmas Carolling

Me, Karen Madera, IK Pelicano and Micapz were all members of the school choir headed by Sir Cabatingan. We did carolling as a choir sa mga piniling household sa nasipit.

One night, nka decide mi nga mangaroling sa talisay. So kaming upat suroy2x mi. I remembered daku kau mig kita that night because they thought we were a group jud from the church or something. Compared sa binatabata nga pagpamasko daku jud to among halin. Hehehe. Thanks to our golden voices. I miss the three of you. Merry Christmas!!!

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

Earth has deteriorated na jud. I know it's too late to do things to slow down the effect sa mistakes sa past but until the end jud unta we should fight for mother earth who has sustained us. Nothing lasts forever but at least we will not give up without a fight.
